Job summary

Marine Travelift, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service domestic Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift equipment. The role requires erecting equipment at customer sites, conducting inspections, and performing routine maintenance while traveling up to 75% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have hydraulic and electrical aptitude, be able to troubleshoot effectively, and lift 50 pounds unassisted, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel broadly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial equipment with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with heavy lifting and rigging.
• Ability to work safely at heights (>50 ft).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Erect new equipment at customer sites and train customers on usage and maintenance.
• Conduct field inspections on previously purchased equipment and provide feedback.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts lists to the CustomerCare team.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines at customer sites.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Marine Travelift Florida is excited to be adding a full-time field service technician to our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing services to domestic Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift customers and equipment. As a tech, you will work 40-60 hours/week and travel at least 75% of the time.

As a Field Service Technician, you will…

• Erect new equipment at customer sites and provide customer training on equipment usage and proper maintenance.
• Conduct field inspections on equipment previously purchased and provide feedback to the customer.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts list from inspections to the CustomerCare team.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines currently in service at customer sites.
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

We are looking for you to…

• Have experience in maintaining industrial equipment with strong hydraulic and electrical aptitude (Parker IQAN a plus).
• Effectively troubleshoot issues using proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis techniques.
• Have experience in heavy lifting and rigging.
• Be able to work at heights safely in excess of 50 feet.
• Understand technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Be able to travel domestically & internationally at least 75% of the time.
• Have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
