Job summary

Marine Travelift, Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician in Florida to serve domestic Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift customers, with 40–60 hours weekly and travel ~75%.

You will erect equipment on-site, conduct inspections, submit reports, and perform scheduled maintenance, with training and advancement opportunities, paid vacation, and competitive benefits. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial equipment with hydraulic and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally about 75% of the time.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Erect new equipment at customer sites and train users on operation and maintenance.
• Conduct field inspections and provide feedback and reports to the CustomerCare team.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines in service.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Marine Travelift Florida is excited to be adding a full-time field service technician to our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing services to domestic Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift customers and equipment. As a tech, you will work 40-60 hours/week and travel at least 75% of the time.

As a Field Service Technician, you will…

• Erect new equipment at customer sites and provide customer training on equipment usage and proper maintenance.
• Conduct field inspections on equipment previously purchased and provide feedback to the customer.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts list from inspections to the CustomerCare team.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines currently in service at customer sites.
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

We are looking for you to…

• Have experience in maintaining industrial equipment with strong hydraulic and electrical aptitude (Parker IQAN a plus).
• Effectively troubleshoot issues using proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis techniques.
• Have experience in heavy lifting and rigging.
• Be able to work at heights safely in excess of 50 feet.
• Understand technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Be able to travel domestically & internationally at least 75% of the time.
• Have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
