USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a skilled field technician to support the preservation, make ready repair, and long- and short-term storage maintenance of idle natural gas compression units. You will participate in the 180-day rotation, perform major and minor maintenance, and ensure units are prepared for redeployment.

You must have technical or trade certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school certification or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of natural gas compression experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR history.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and understand technical manuals.

Responsabilités

• Understand and follow all safety and environmental policies.
• Preserve and seal idle units as they return to the storage yards.
• Roll over and re-preserve units on a 180 day rotation.
• Repair packages and make ready for redeployment into active status.
• Perform major and minor scheduled maintenance on idle units.
• Reconfigure compressor cylinder arrangements to meet new contract needs.
• Repair and maintain the heavy equipment inventory (HEI).
• General housekeeping to keep yards clean and safe.
• Assist in loading/unloading units; operate truck-mounted cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain company vehicle according to guidelines.
• Help maintain parts inventory for storage yards.
• Keep units clean and safe to work on.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Full-time hourly position.
