Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of field service experience with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and high-speed rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation.
• Strong organization to meet deadlines.
• Ability to write and verbally communicate to build rapport with teams and customers.
• Extensive travel up to 75%, including domestic and international assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site start-up, commissioning, and optimization of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct detailed equipment checks, verify installations, and ensure readiness for customer operations.
• Analyze and record performance data during equipment tests to ensure peak efficiency.
• Perform repairs and conduct preventative maintenance on company equipment in the field to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to meet project timelines for newly installed equipment.
• Create clear and concise technical reports to maintain and provide punch lists for project closeouts.
