Job summary

Centurion Security Systems, LLC in Troy, OH is seeking a motivated installer to join our community-focused team. You will install security alarm systems, cameras, access control, and related low-voltage equipment in homes and small businesses, run wiring, mount devices, and program alarm panels.

We teach you and you’ll work directly with experienced technicians from day one. We provide hands-on on-the-job training, a company vehicle after training, and a supportive environment with paid holidays

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and stairs
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Reliable, on-time, professional in customers' homes
• Comfortable working with low-voltage wiring and security equipment

Responsibilities

Centurion Security Systems is a locally owned alarm and security company based in Troy, serving about 500 monitored customers across Miami County and the Greater Dayton area. We're a small team, so you'll get hands‑on training, work directly with experienced techs, and your work will matter from day one.

What you'll do

• Install security alarm systems, cameras, access control, and related low‑voltage equipment in homes and businesses
• Run and terminate wire, mount devices, and program alarm panels (we'll teach you)
• Troubleshoot and repair existing systems on service calls
• Explain systems to customers and show them how to use them
• Keep your vehicle, tools, and job paperwork organized and up to date

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Comfortable working on ladders and in attics, crawlspaces, and basements, and able to lift 50 lbs
• Reliable, on time, and professional in customers' homes
• A willingness to learn. Mechanical aptitude matters more than experience here

Nice to have

• Experience with low‑voltage, electrical, networking, or cable installation
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic comfort with smartphones, apps, and computers
