Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking an On-Site Equipment Technician to perform installation, assembly of engine radiators, block heaters, and routine maintenance at customer sites in the Manitowoc area.

The role requires reading technical manuals, using rigging gear, and providing exceptional service while adhering to safety standards. A valid driver’s license is required, with a focus on reliable equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical or engine experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with rigging and lifting with overhead crane or similar.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install engine radiators, block heaters, and circuit breakers per specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on engine/generator packages.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Comply with local codes, Fabick Cat safety protocols, and customer site requirements.
• Communicate progress and needs with customers and Fabick Cat teams.
