Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist II to deliver on-site technical service and manage customer requirements in field operations. You will coordinate with customers and third-party providers, maintain equipment readiness, and travel as needed while following safety procedures.

You will handle electrical work up to 5,000 volts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong customer relationships. Willingness to travel and work independently is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in field operations, electrical service, maintenance, or related technical environment.
• Experience interacting directly with customers.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned jobs and ensure timely arrival at customer locations.
• Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments.
• Work effectively with customers and third-party personnel on-site.
• Support field operations with possible overnight travel near customer sites.
• Work safely with electrical systems and equipment up to 5,000 volts.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available.
• Follow company processes, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support successful job execution while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Communicate status and needs with customers, supervisors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
