Job summary

Eaton's Engineering Service & Systems Division in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical switchgear at customer sites across KS, AR, and MO. You will drive an Eaton vehicle, travel as needed, and deliver technical solutions while upholding safety standards.

The role provides a competitive salary in the $69,000–$101,000 range, a guaranteed 40-hour base week, and benefits including a company vehicle, tuition assistance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years electrical or mechanical experience, or trade school with 5+ years in electrical distribution.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Lenexa KS; military candidates exempt from area limitation.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; field service exp. in power distribution/controls.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering tasks including testing, design or research.
• Record service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
