About The Job

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with expertise in controls and automation to join our team. This customer-facing role involves solving problems and building relationships through installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and automated systems, control panels, and willingness to travel extensively within the US and internationally. This is a fully remote position, preferably based in the Eastern US.

Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical control systems, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and related equipment.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair services, diagnosing complex issues.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure equipment and systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical components.
  • Provide training and technical advice to customers.
  • Document service activities accurately and timely.
  • Maintain high customer service standards and effective communication.
  • Travel extensively (75%-85%) across the US and internationally.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or automation industries.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
  • HVAC certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC and HMI software preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and enter confined spaces.
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, bending, standing, and walking.
Benefits and Additional Information
