Job Title: Diesel Field Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC

Full Time Role

Pay Range: $28-30/hr ($70-80k/annum)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Field Technician with a strong background in construction diesel equipment to join our team. This is a field-based role requiring a high level of technical skill, independence, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience (15 years preferred) working with heavy construction equipment, particularly Caterpillar engines, and a proven track record in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing major repairs and rebuilds.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 10-15 years of experience in diesel equipment, with a preference for 15 years.
2. Construction diesel equipment experience is crucial, especially with heavy machinery like bulldozers.
3. Experience working on heavy equipment such as bulldozers and forklifts.
4. Caterpillar engine experience, including troubleshooting, repairing, engine rebuilds, and forklift experience.
5. Certifications such as Hyster Yale are preferred but not mandatory; construction experience is more important.
6. Open to relocating candidates from other states; willingness to assist with moving expenses for exceptional candidates.
