Rueter’s Equipment in Osceola, IA is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to service and repair agricultural and construction equipment. The role combines shop work with on-site field service, with occasional forklift use and travel to customer sites.

You will diagnose problems, order parts, document work, and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of CIH or equivalent repair experience, strong electrical/hydraulic skills, a valid driver's license,

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of CIH (Case IH) or equivalent repair training and experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
• Must possess your own tools.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Osceola. In this role, you will perform major mechanical work on gas and diesel engines, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure our equipment operates at peak performance.

Work Environment

This position operates in both a shop and field environment, with exposure to varied weather and uneven surfaces. Employees are regularly required to communicate with team members, stand, walk, use their hands, and lift at least 25 pounds routinely.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
