About Us: Rueter’s Equipment is a family-owned distributor of world-class agricultural and construction equipment, including brands such as Case IH, Kubota, Hyundai, JCB, and Ashland. We specialize in comprehensive mechanical work, including diesel engine repair, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, fuel systems, tune-ups, and all phases of agricultural implement and equipment repair.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in CNH repair. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who can deliver quality maintenance and repair services both in the shop and at customer locations.

Requires 7+ years of CNH repair training & experience. We are willing to pay based on experience and background skills.

Requirements

Duties to include:

• Shop based repair work.
• Occasionally travels to customer locations to service equipment. Must possess valid driver’s license and be insurable with company insurance company to operate company vehicles.
• Performs quality maintenance service work on customer equipment.
• Accurately diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment problems and recommends effective repairs.
• Determines parts and supplies required to make repairs and performs quality repair work on customer equipment.
• Follows proper safety procedures when working under and around equipment
• Meets all deadlines and schedules for completion of work.
• Occasionally operates a forklift to assist in working on heavy equipment; may assist in loading and unloading machinery.

Reports and record-keeping

• Accurately records information related to work orders, including time, work performed, and materials used, according to company procedures.
• Accurately enters time and materials for service and repair work performed in order to facilitate correct billing to customer.

Must have own tools. Rueter's Equipment provides continuous ongoing company training to keep our Technicians up to date on all technology advances.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment:

This job operates in both an office and field environment, including exposure to varied weather and uneven surface conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with team. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This job requires the employee to lift at least 25 pounds routinely.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evenings and weekends as necessary.
