Job summary

Acme Tools in Eagan, MN is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fuel problems on motorized power equipment. You will perform service calls, communicate with customers, and conduct routine engine maintenance while keeping equipment and trucks clean and organized.

Responsibilities include inspections, documenting work performed and parts used, and assisting with sales support when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Mechanical experience with tools and equipment.
• Customer service skills and ability to communicate with customers.
• Basic computer skills for service records and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a diverse range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fuel problems on motorized power equipment and tools.
• Perform on-site service calls and communicate with customers about issues and maintenance plans.
• Conduct routine engine maintenance and replace worn components as needed.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized; maintain service trucks.
• Prioritize and manage work schedule, especially during busy seasons.
• Record inspections, tests, work performed, and parts used.
