Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install and support wireless communications systems. You will create basic programming codeplugs and perform mobile installations, while troubleshooting two‑way radios and related hardware. Some regional travel and occasional on‑call hours are expected.

The ideal candidate brings basic electronics knowledge, RF/telecom experience, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver’s license and security checks complete the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Basic Electronics background (12V and/or low-voltage systems) required.
• RF/telecommunications/networking experience a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Background checks and drug screenings are part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless communications systems.
• Create basic programming codeplugs (less than 12 channels).
• Perform basic mobile installations (radio, antenna, modem, DC-DC converters).
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two‑way radios and related equipment.
• Occasional regional or overnight travel and on‑call hours may be required.
