Job summary

Ace Industries, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install, inspect, maintain and repair hoist and crane equipment in the field. You will uphold professional integrity to earn customer confidence and ensure service success.

You will troubleshoot overhead cranes and hoists, perform preventive maintenance, evaluate repairs, document actions, and communicate with customers and offices. Travel is required; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to fabricate and weld structures (certified preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits (single/three phase; AC/DC).
• Ability to drive a service truck in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment as needed.
• Evaluate and recommend repairs for customers.
• Maintain rapport with customers and document actions.
• Install and service overhead crane systems and perform inspections.
• Document service actions with reports and checklists.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness and organization.
