Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform in-field repairs on construction equipment across the Missouri territory. You will troubleshoot engine, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring safe operation.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid CDL with air brake. Overtime and some weekend work may be required, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training plus a minimum of four years’ field service experience.
• Must be proficient with engine, electrical, hydraulic, transmissions and diagnostic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-field service and repairs on construction equipment for Altorfer’s customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Operate equipment safely to identify diagnostics and determine solutions.
• Maintain service-oriented relationships with customers and supervisors.
• Order parts from equipment parts books or online.
• Complete service reports and related paperwork.
