Job summary

Columbia Machine, Inc. is seeking a technical service specialist to support installation, commissioning and service of Concrete Products equipment.

You will travel to customer sites, provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, and train customers on equipment safety and operation. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of Concrete Products experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform essential duties; accommodations may be made.
• Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems helpful.
• 3-5 years of Concrete Products experience including electro/mechanical repair.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical customer service and support during installation, commissioning, and servicing of Concrete Products equipment.
• Travels up to 75% to support customers and projects.
• Educates, trains, and troubleshoots problems on-site and remotely.
• Maintains professional demeanor and builds rapport to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supervises local personnel during installation and ensures equipment safety and functionality.
• Tests equipment and ensures control interlocks and alarms function correctly.
• Documents project status, safety issues, and service reports in CRM and manuals.
