Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Lexington area to service air compressors and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document service activities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressors preferred.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep the service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision.
