Job summary

Model 1 Commercial Vehicles is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and support our vehicle fleet in the field. This role will manage onsite repairs, maintenance, and installations, diagnose problems with automotive systems, and require ASE certification and a valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.

You should have at least four years in an automotive service facility, own personal tools, and the ability to work independently to meet an 85% efficiency target.

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in an automotive service facility.
• Personal tools required.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsement.
• Pass ASE certification tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits.
• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using diagnostics equipment.
• Perform inspections and repairs following established procedures.
• Handle light and medium-duty repairs including A/C, electrical, brakes, transmission, engine.
• Submit timely work orders and evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, upgrades.
