Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants throughout your area. You’ll troubleshoot and service cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, and install replacement parts in a regionally varied schedule.

The role includes a company vehicle, ongoing training and career advancement, generous benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification preferred for refrigeration techs.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

General Parts is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants throughout your area.

What You’ll Do
