ProSearch RecruitingPartners is hiring a Field Service Technician for a world-leading OEM of CNC machinery, machining centers, and automation systems. The technician will travel to customer sites for commissioning, integration, and to provide problem-solving solutions.

The role requires 90–100% travel and living within 50 miles of a major airport, with comprehensive benefits and opportunity for overtime on busy projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot using I/O structures and measurement tools.
• Strong documentation of service actions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales staff in servicing equipment.
• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Provide service solutions at customer sites.
• Document all service performed and future needs.
• Maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Demonstrate company software capabilities to customers.
• Prepare timesheets, service reports and installation forms promptly.
• Track expenses and submit expense reports on time.
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA/MIOSHA requirements.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Overtime may be required by workload and customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
