Job summary

Warren CAT in Amarillo, TX is seeking a CSA PM1 Technician to help keep customer equipment running. You will perform field inspections, collect engine oil samples, and document inspections for Engine/Generator packages.

You will report issues to the CSA supervisor, customer, and PSSR, work independently, and may need to travel up to 60%. A valid driver's license and the possibility to obtain a CDL are required; a GED or high school diploma is expected; CAT knowledge and good communication are

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL.
• Computer knowledge a plus.
• Effective communication skills to relay information to customers and colleagues.
• Must successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections and pulls oil sample on Engine.
• Completes inspection on Engine/Generator package and completes Cat Inspect application with pertinent information.
• Reports to CSA supervisor, customer and PSSR any problems found or anticipated repairs.
