Job summary

Blanchard Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment at customer sites, with a focus on CAT machines.

You will receive extensive training and work under pressure in varied conditions. Candidates must have 3+ years of heavy equipment experience, be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, operate lifting devices, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment experience.
• CAT equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and test systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to accuracy, organization, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and hydraulic-diesel equipment.
• Perform inspections and test equipment for proper operation.
• Install or repair parts.
• Complete paperwork such as service reports and time cards.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to assist repairs.
• Represent Blanchard Machinery professionally to customers.
• Operate lifting devices and manage varied weights.
• Keep service truck and equipment in good condition.
