Wheeler in Moab, UT is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to repair and maintain Caterpillar engines, equipment, and dealer support gear at customer sites outside of the shop. This role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems, using SIS, CAT ET, DBS, ServiceLink, and Time Collection.

Responsibilities include safe operation of forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment, documenting service reports, and ordering parts as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman level shop technician or 5 years equivalent level experience.
• Flawless motor vehicle driver record.
• Able to repair engines, including Tier 4 Final systems, and perform fluid sampling.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and powertrain systems; climb and work at height.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Writing and grammar skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Follow the Safety Program to prevent injuries and wear PPE.
• Conduct repairs on assigned jobs for all makes and models.
• Operate forklifts safely and handle crane-equipped trucks.
• Input repair information and complete service reports.
• Utilize diagnostic software and track work hours.
• Order parts as needed and contribute to process improvements.
