Job summary

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, seeks an accountable field technician to manage accounts in a geographic area, install and test beverage and chemical equipment, and provide hands-on training. You will deliver face-to-face support to customers and sales staff, drive to sites, and coordinate service schedules.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are required; some equipment sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 6 - 12 months equipment sales and / or maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts in geographical area and provide assistance and training to such accounts.
• Maintain proper functioning of various beverage and chemical equipment.
• Install and test various equipment.
• Assist customers and sales people determine best equipment or products for application.
• Provide face-to-face customer service in various situations.
• Drive to customer sites to assist in correcting problems.
• Prepare schedules for service or installation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
