BOWE US is expanding in North America and seeks a field service technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment at customer sites. You will work to return systems to production while following safety and repair procedures, and you will be customer-facing throughout the process.

The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and Windows proficiency, with potential shift premiums and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relations required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for troubleshooting.
• Ability to maintain focus under pressure with a positive attitude.
• An advanced degree in electronics or mechanics is preferred, but experience may be valued more highly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production mail and parcel automation equipment.
• Quickly diagnose problems and perform repairs to return machines to production.
• Follow company procedures for proper repair, safety, and escalations.
• Serve in a customer-facing role to provide a positive experience for customers.
