Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks a Field Service Technician - 100% to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. Travel away from home for 4 weeks at a time with a week home for time off, working outdoors in varying conditions and adhering to safety policies.

Base pay is hourly with bonus potential. The role requires a year of technical experience or equivalent education, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• One year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Able to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Operations activities including Safety and Preventative Maintenance.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely per Invenergy policies.
