Job Overview

The Field Service Technician II provides on-site support at the Air Framer for Safran Aerospace Seats, focusing on interiors manufactured in the USA, France, and Great Britain. Responsibilities include assisting Air Framer / Airline customers during aircraft assembly, addressing installation issues, damaged parts, reworking pickups, cosmetic defects, and customer relations issues. All rework must adhere to Safran Seats drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Responsibilities

1. Rework and stamp pickups identified by Air Framer or customer during aircraft build.
2. Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and damaged parts, adjust misaligned panels/trim, assist seat installation teams.
3. Maintain high-quality workmanship at all times.
4. Respond promptly to communication with Air Framer personnel and customers.
5. Build and maintain good rapport with team and clients.
6. Follow safety guidelines and processes established by Safran and Air Framer.
7. Submit accurate part requests and understand POA/SOA processes.
8. Safely operate company vehicles around facilities.
9. Attend daily standup meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's in a technical field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in field service, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Skills: Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with technical documents, basic computer skills, proficient with smartphones/tablets, valid driver's license, ability to obtain passport.
• Behavioral: Ability to work under stress, follow instructions, excellent communication, flexible hours, ability to manage multiple tasks, willingness to travel, good written communication skills, clear speech and hearing.
• Desirable: Electrical troubleshooting skills, participation in continuous improvement, strong communication skills.
