Crown Equipment Corporation in Florida is seeking an agile field-service technician to diagnose and repair Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites. You will perform scheduled maintenance, keep the service van stocked, and complete all required paperwork after each job.

The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical aptitude, reading schematics, and safety-conscious operation. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; experience is welcome though not extensive.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
