Hours: M-F 8:00-4:30
Experience: If you've worked in automotive, diesel, aviation, military, construction, agriculture, or with heavy equipment, your skills transfer directly to this role. Forklifts and industrial equipment use the same fundamentals: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
Job Summary: Repair and perform Planned Maintenance on forklifts, industrial sweeper/scrubbers, scissor lifts and personnel carriers and other types of industrial equipment.
Essential Functions: Work independently in a safe, well-organized shop environment, along with assisting other shop technicians with the supervision of a Shop Foreman and Service Manager. Technicians are assigned specific jobs that include evaluation and diagnosis, ordering necessary parts, and completing the job along with communicating the repair details on the electronic work order.
Qualified applicants must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check and have a driving record that meets the requirements of our insurance provider. The hiring process also includes a Mechanical Aptitude and Predictive Index assessment.
