Job summary

Miele in the Washington area is seeking a self-motivated Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair domestic premium appliances at customer locations.

The role requires 100% local travel, a valid driver’s license, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and solid computer skills with Microsoft Office. You will install and train customers, maintain the vehicle and complete warranty paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Miele equipment using factory training and manuals.
• Level and adjust equipment including plumbing, gas and electrical connections.
• Install and instruct customers on the proper use of equipment.
• Organize and upkeep of company vehicle and tools.
• Complete service calls and warranty documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain parts inventory by ordering replacements and conducting inventories.
• Keep delivery truck in safe, working order.
