Pay Range

This range is provided by Poly-clip System USA LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Location and Travel

Candidate must be located in the Midwestern United States. Positions are either remote or based in Mundelein, Illinois, requiring up to 90% travel. Tools will be provided.

Role Responsibilities

• Installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance of food processing machines at customer sites
• Re-wiring and repair of electrical assemblies
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machines
• Submitting reports such as service and expense reports
• Providing phone support remotely
• Programming, installing, and troubleshooting KEB frequency drives
• Troubleshooting Beckhoff control systems and I/O
• Troubleshooting Siemens PLC and I/O

Qualifications and Experience

• Understanding of PLC operation and programming, Siemens/Beckhoff CPUs, and related I/O
• Knowledge of Ethercat, Profibus, and MPI fieldbus communication
• Experience with Beckhoff CX industrial computers and wiring
• Formal education from a technical or trade school in food industry technology is a plus
• At least 2 years of equipment maintenance experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and reading complex wiring diagrams
• Food processing equipment experience is required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift over 100 lbs, sit, stand, twist, and turn as needed
• Prolonged sitting during travel
• Ability to handle stress and Boredom

Additional Information
