Job summary

Gerhart is seeking Field Service Technicians to calibrate and service weighing and material handling systems at customer sites. You will operate company vehicles, diagnose malfunctions, and repair equipment while maintaining a professional relationship with customers and reporting progress to the Team Leader.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical or electrical background, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• General mechanical or electrical background.
• Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt).
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
• Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Maintain valid Drivers license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough on-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems.
