Job description

Direct Hire opening for an established manufacturing company in Sheboygan Falls for a Field Service Technician.

The Field Service Technician will work with new and newly installed converting equipment in their plant and at client sites to ensure proper start-up and solve process related issues. The Field Service Technician will train customer operators and ensure proper audits and documentation are completed. They will work with project managers, engineering and client staff as well.

This position requires up to 50% travel, both domestically and internationally which includes company paid food and hotel, along with a $6/hour premium when traveling and additional daily per diem!Our company also has an excellent benefits package to add to the total compensation package.Base pay is $26-$32/hr. depending on experience.When not traveling, hours areMon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm with some overtime as needed

-Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, will consider new E/M school graduates.
-Strong knowledge of process improvement
-Solid Math skills including metric conversions
-Ability to use hand tools, power tools and machine shop equipment.
-Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and/or internationally.
-Must have or be able to obtain basic hand tool set.
