Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking field technicians to troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators at customer sites across assigned locations. The role requires experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including high/low voltage work, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Travel is required; you will complete field service orders and document all activities.

On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on quality, safety, and timely completion of tasks in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical actuators.
• Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators at specified locations.
• Install or replace components per wiring diagram and complete field service work orders.
• Perform program changes and test remote indicators and controls to PLC and PMS.
• Troubleshoot repairs of controls, process controllers, cabinets, and power supplies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and document all activities per policy.
• Travel to various sites; follow lockout-tagout and safety procedures.

Job description

Field technicians will perform the following tasks, but are not limited to: troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators at specified locations. Install and/or replace components per wiring diagram. Complete field service/job time worksheets and submit to Field Service Coordinator upon completion of field service/labor work. Chalmers and Kubeck South will provide on-the-job training for qualified applicants, but mechanical and electrical work history or experience is required.Key Duties:Duties are illustrative and not inclusive and may vary with individual assignments.- Perform program changes, and testing remote indications and controls to PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and PMS (Process Management Systems).- Troubleshoot repairs of all Controls, Process Controllers, Control Cabinets, Power Supplies and all other field devices.- Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair.- Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.- Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.- Document all work order activities to comply with MP2 requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.- Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing work in all operational and Facilities areas, depending upon the immediate needs of the department.Job Requirements:1. Must be able to receive and understand verbal and written technical instructions in English.6. Safely function in an industrial setting where manufacturing conditions exist.7.
