Job Details

As a Permanent Field Service Technician, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to our mission to deliver top-notch engineering solutions to our clients. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various engineering systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, electrical troubleshooting, field service, 208/480vac, 3 phase electrical power, motor starting applications, UPS solutions, motors, and uninterrupted power supply. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, electrical systems, and motors.
• Conducting electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and fix electrical issues.
• Handling field service tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Working with 208/480vac, 3 phase electrical power, and motor starting applications.
• Providing UPS solutions and working with uninterrupted power supply systems.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and protocols.
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers.
• Documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintaining customer rapport by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in low voltage systems, electrical troubleshooting, and field service.
• Experience with 208/480vac, 3 phase electrical power, and motor starting applications.
• Knowledge of UPS solutions and uninterrupted power supply systems.
• Strong understanding of motors and their applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client locations.
• Certification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
