Omaha Pneumatic Equipment Company is seeking a full-time service technician to perform maintenance and repairs on air compressors across Omaha and surrounding regions. You will work Mon-Fri, 8 AM–5 PM, with some overtime and on-call weekends, operating company or personal vehicles depending on location.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer education on system capabilities while documenting diagnostics and repairs and coordinating with service

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as an air compressor service technician or similar role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on various air compressors.
• Maintain refrigerated and desiccant dryers and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, and installations.
• Provide technical support for installations and start-ups.
• Educate customers on system capabilities and best practices.

Employment Status:

Full-Time

Location:

• Omaha, NE (Company vehicle provided)
• Lincoln, NE; Iowa Regional; South Dakota (Personal vehicle with reimbursement or potentially company vehicle provided)

Salary:

$19-$32 per hour, based on experience, plus bonus opportunities

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (2-10 hours overtime weekly, some weekends on-call)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and repairs on rotary screw, reciprocating, oil-injected, and oil-free air compressors.
• Perform maintenance on refrigerated and desiccant dryers, and related compressed air system components.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Document equipment parameters, diagnostics, repairs, and installations thoroughly.
• Provide technical support for installations, start-ups, and customer inquiries.
• Educate customers on system capabilities, benefits, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators for parts and supplies.
• Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly between customer locations.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Proficient with mobile applications (HouseCall Pro, Zendesk, Trello, Telegram, Gmail).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs. regularly and work in varied industrial environments.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills.

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred.

Experience Requirement:

• 3-5 years of experience as an air compressor service technician or similar mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance role preferred.
