Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Standby Generator Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential standby generator systems. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional client experience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Key Responsibilities

Efficiently plan and install residential standby generators to exceed manufacturer specifications, and local / national codes.

**Generator Maintenance**

Perform regular maintenance, servicing and proactive repairs of generator systems to ensure reliability and optimal performance.

Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues, providing effective solutions and repairs as needed.

**Client Education & Interaction**

Communicate clearly and decisively with clients regarding service appointments, maintenance needs, and system operations, ensuring a high level of satisfaction that is consistently above industry standards.

Work closely with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards, upholding a positive, proactive and cooperative work environment.

**Documentation**

Maintain accurate electronic records of services performed, parts used, and client interactions in accordance with company policies.

**Safety Compliance**

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred.

- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of residential standby generators to a high level.

- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Relevant certifications and generator manufacturer training is a plus.
