The Field Service Tech will be responsible for traveling to retail stores to test, troubleshoot, and repair our reverse vending machines (RVM). The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills through provided training. Basic understanding of maintenance or mechanical systems and troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis are preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining, servicing, and repairing reverse vending machines, focusing on conveyors, sensors, motors, and other equipment. Driving between locations is a significant part of the role, so a clean driving record and a passion for being on the road are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of RVMs.
2. Interact with equipment electronically via software communication setups.
3. Install new RVMs at new sites.
4. Provide excellent customer service to clients and the public.
5. Assemble, disassemble, and repair mechanical components using hands.
6. Operate a reliable company vehicle with expenses paid.

Qualifications & Education

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills.
5. Ability to work independently after training.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 150 lbs frequently.
7. Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends.
8. Excellent driving skills and motor vehicle record.
9. Some weekend availability is required.
