Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair highly automated industrial machinery across the Midwest, with extensive travel throughout the United States. The role combines hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with customer training and on-site support.

You will work independently on complex equipment, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance while earning $60,000–$70,000 annually plus 100% employer-paid benefits and a $500 monthly vehicle

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service, maintenance, controls, automation, or industrial troubleshooting experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings; travel extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and start up industrial equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair PLC controlled machinery and automation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance procedures.
• Complete service reports and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical support both onsite and remotely.

This position will support the installation, maintenance, repair, and training of customers on highly automated industrial machinery throughout the midwest.

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport if needed
