Job summary

Hamilton Medical invites applications for a Field Service Technician to service ventilator systems across Missouri, Arkansas, and East Tennessee. The ideal candidate will reside near Memphis, TN, or St. Louis, MO and travel as required.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and conduct root-cause analyses while also contributing to sales efforts. A technical Associate degree or equivalent is required, with hospital or field service experience preferred.

The Field Service Technician will perform repairs and maintenance of Hamilton Medical ventilation products in a field service capacity in support of the Missouri, Arkansas, East Tennessee territory. The ideal candidate will reside near or in Memphis, TN., or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
• Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
• Sales are a vital part of this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree required in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics Technology, or certificate from accredited electronics school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Previous hospital, bio-medical, or field service experience and basic understanding of ventilation is preferred.
• Basic understanding of ventilation is strongly preferred.
• Position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
• Position requires travel.
