Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment at customer sites. This temp-to-hire role involves up to 80–90% travel and frequent field visits.

You will read electrical schematics and mechanical prints, train customers on equipment use, and maintain accurate service records. Reports to the Field Services Director.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on equipment per procedures.
• Perform scheduled inspections to prevent failures, including load banking and voltage analysis.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Train and educate customers on use of equipment and value of services.
• Maintain records of services performed, mileage, expenses, and billable hours.
• Adhere to safety requirements and regulations.
• Travel to customer locations; report to Field Services Director.
