Job summary

Xylem is seeking mechanically inclined Field Service Technicians to support hands-on services across multiple sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair water treatment equipment on a range of systems.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of technical experience, a valid DOT-med card, and strong customer relations. This role is hybrid with a mix of on-site work and field visits, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• HS diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

• Ability to obtain DOT Medical card

Skill Requirements:

• Electrical, mechanical, diesel, fusion experience depending on business unit

• Work without direct supervision and provides coaching/training to junior‑level technicians

• Technically sound

• Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices

• Must have customer service experience

• Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability

• Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly

• Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways

The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $32/hourly.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
