Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain trash and recycling equipment. The role involves traveling to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment, with responsibilities including welding, electrical and hydraulic work, and preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of mechanical repair experience, MIG welding, and the ability to read electrical/hydraulic diagrams. A valid driver's license and strong customer service skills are required.

Job Description: Wastequip is looking for a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain trash and recycling equipment, including compactors, balers, and hydraulic systems. The right person should have experience with electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic repairs, welding, and mechanical repairs. This position requires traveling to customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair compactors, balers, and other trash equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.

Physical Requirements

• Lift to 75 pounds.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience repairing compactors, balers, or waste equipment.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems.
• A CDL license is a plus but not required.
