We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced air pollution control equipment, including thermal oxidizers and flares, at customer facilities throughout the continental United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically minded technician who enjoys solving problems in the field, working independently, and tackling new challenges at different job sites. You’ll receive approximately one month of hands-on training with the assembly team in Houston before taking on independent field assignments, with opportunities to expand your electrical, PLC, and controls knowledge along the way. • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and confidently manage assignments without direct supervision
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel approximately 70–75% of the time, including occasional short‑notice trips and extended assignments
  • Approximately 2 years of relevant experience preferred, particularly with thermal oxidizers, burners, flares, fired equipment, or air pollution control systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting, wiring, PLC, controls, or mechanical completion experience is a strong plus
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of $64,480–$76,960, depending on experience
  • Direct‑hire opportunity with employment on the company payroll from day one
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options through bp benefit plans
  • Company‑provided travel expenses through a corporate travel and expense card, with rental cars or company vehicles provided for assignments
