Job summary

Bühler Gruppe is looking for a manufacturing technician to assemble, test, repair, retrofit and install Bühler products at customer sites in the United States. You will perform wiring, pipe bending, fabrication and installing hydraulic and electrical components per blueprints, inspect installations and prepare reports.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of related experience or a degree, with strong communication skills and ability to work under supervision within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of industrial controls, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Team-oriented, works well in a group.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, tests, repairs, rebuilds, retrofits and installs Bühler products at customer sites.
• Performs manufacturing tasks including wiring, pipe bending, fabrication and installation of hydraulic/electrical components per blueprints.
• Inspects components to ensure proper installation.
• Prepares written reports documenting history and follow-up requirements.
• Resolves customer complaints or refers issues to qualified personnel.
• Follows training plan under supervision of Team Leader.

Job description

Assembles, tests, repairs, rebuilds, retrofits and installs Buhler products while performing a variety of manufacturing tasks at the customer site, according to established procedures, while conforming to all safe work practices.

• Performs manufacturing tasks including wiring, pipe bending, fabricating and installing of hydraulic and electrical components following blueprints
• Inspects components to insure proper installation
• Prepares written reports to provide history and follow up requirements
• Resolves customer complaints or refers issue to qualified individual
• Follows individual training plan under the supervision of Team Leader

• Degree appropriate for position or 3 or more years of related experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain positive composure in stressful situations
• Demonstrated knowledge of industrial controls, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Success working in a team environment
