Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems LLC is seeking a Service Technician to repair commercial laundry equipment on customer sites. You will troubleshoot, replace parts, and document service activities while traveling within the assigned territory in Alabama.

A strong customer service mindset and basic IT skills are essential. The role requires >2 years of mechanical repair experience, knowledge of electrical testing tools, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical repair experience; laundry equipment experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and/or other diagnostic tools.
• Proficient MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with ticketing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment on premises (On Premises Laundry & Vended).
• Install replacement parts as needed.
• Accurately document all service activities, including time, materials, travel mileage and fuel.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair work to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with service manager, parts department, and vendors to ensure accurate work product.
• Maintain tools, service equipment, and company vehicle.
• Assist install crews with equipment installations and deliveries.
• Perform other tasks to maintain efficient department operations.

OverviewAs a Service Technician, you will be specializing in repairing commercial laundry equipment for a distributor. You will be dispatched from your home to troubleshoot and perform mechanical/electrical repairs on various makes of commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, etc.) at businesses, such as work out facilities, hospitals, motels etc. Building a healthy business relationship with our customers is key to growing and maintaining our business and your positive attitude and work ethic will be instrumental in our success. This role will support the Northern Birmingham, AL market.You should be adaptable, self-motivated, have exceptional customers service skills, and a willingness to participate.
