Field Service Technician – Fletcher – 1st Shift – Up to $35.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Fletcher.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves primarily existing and new customers by troubleshooting equipment failures by phone or on customer sites.
• Locates sources of problems by observing electrical, hydraulic or mechanical devices in operation.
• Startup and Commissioning of new equipment at customer location.
• Maintains close relationship with customers. Identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending equipment/system improvements.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of wear parts by inspecting parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments, Metric knowledge a must.
• Disassemble of entire equipment in workshop environment for reconditioning or upgrade of customer equipment.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Provide after sales technical support, review spare parts manuals and suggest replacement or wear parts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a field or maintenance technician is preferred.
• Associate Technical Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is required. Programming is a plus.
• Hydraulic control experience is required
• Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of the metric system
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to travel on short notice, Monday through Friday. Some weekends required.

Hours of Work: 1^st Shift – 6:30 am to 4:30 pm

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
