Job summary

Williamson Pump & Motor is seeking a Field Service Technician for a full-time, on-the-road role covering New England. You will repair and maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors and other mechanical equipment, diagnose issues, replace parts, and perform routine maintenance.

The position requires a high school diploma, relevant certifications preferred, and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel to various job sites. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on HVAC systems, pumps, motors and related equipment.
• Perform part replacements and routine maintenance as needed.
• Travel to various job sites across New England; work on the road and on-call rotation.

Job Description

This is a full-time on the road position, we do service all of New England. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment. You will be required to diagnose problems, perform part replacements and carry out necessary repairs. You will work closely with the team to ensure all systems are working efficiently, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or HVAC engineering
• Professional certification as a Mechanic or HVAC Technician is prefered
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment including HVAC systems, pumps, and motors
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and as a team member
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform tasks and work in confined spaces
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites
