Job summary

Morrison Industrial Equipment is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Elkhart location. You will travel locally in a company van to complete repairs on a variety of products, with emphasis on forklifts. A valid driver’s license and strong mechanical knowledge are required for this role.

Compensation starts at $25-30/hour, negotiable based on experience. Training programs are provided, and benefits are offered. This is a full-time, first-shift position with potential overtime.

Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician at our Elkhart location at 2988 Paul Drive, Elkhart, IN 46514. If you have wrenching experience and strong mechanical knowledge, either on vehicles or any other equipment, then this position is for you!

Monday-Friday | First Shift Hours | Full Time, with opportunity for overtime. Compensation starts at $25-30/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy and any position with the company would require a pre-employment drug screen, as well as a physical exam, and a background check.

About the Job

A Field Service Technician travels locally to customers, using a company van, to complete needed repairs on a wide variety of products with an emphasis on forklifts. This position requires a valid driver's license in good standing.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years mechanical experience (vehicles, tractors, heavy equipment, or similar field)
• Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills
• Enjoy Working on a Team or Independently
• Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
• Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing
• Have a Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities
• Ability to lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions

Essential Functions

We train people that have been working in the industry and who are new to it. Once hired, technicians will automatically be enrolled into our training program. The program and trainings are completely paid for and offer classroom training, hands-on/job shadow training, e-learning, and mentoring.

No tools, no problem! Our “Tools for Technicians” program provides all the tools you need upon onboarding. It’s an 18-month program and when completed the tools are property of the tech! Throughout the training we offer multiple opportunities to gain certifications and put money in your pocket that can be used for more/new tools.
